The copy below is used when we establish your file
transfer area.
With the convenience of our online file transfer system, you no longer need to make special trips to our
plant just to deliver a disk. Now, you can easily send a file from your computer to ours in a matter of minutes.
Just enter the information requested below, click GO and submit your files. It's that easy.
Please note that currently, files must be smaller than 64 megabytes. Call if you
must send larger files.
FILE FORMATTING (Typical for Most Printing Companies)
• Please include all fonts. Embedded fonts or screen fonts are not
acceptable.
• Include all artwork in its original format. Do not send a document with embedded artwork. TIF or EPS files are preferred.
• We also accept files in Postscript or Acrobat Distilled PDF formats. These should be saved as
high-resolution files with fonts embedded.
• Please do not send "flattened" files.
• Use Collect for Output, Save for Service Provider, or Pack and Go when saving Quark, Pagemaker and Publisher files.
• Include hard copy of file with color separations indicated.
• Photos should be scanned at 300 dpi and line art at 600 dpi.
• JPEGs, GIFs and WMF files are meant for use on the Internet, and are not appropriate for print jobs.
• If a color match is required, please specify PMS or Pantone number.
• Please use Spot or CMYK colors, not RGB.
• Consistency in naming colors is an absolute must. (107 CVU is not the same as 107
CVC)
• When creating your own colors, save them as Spot Color, not Process.
• We can change a Spot color to CMYK, but cannot change CMYK to Spot color (with limited exceptions).
